Command Ships

Command ships usually serve as the flagships of the Commander of a fleet. They provide communications, office space, and accommodations for a fleet commander and his staff, and serve to coordinate fleet activities. For larger navies command ships have been used for dedicated purpose but smaller navies tend to incorporate this into ships with a multi function rather then the single role.
